Brilliant! Daniel is such an inspiration. He has led a fascinating life and has a gift for telling stories, including his own. So much wisdom, great advice, and interesting recommendations. I'll be curious to know more about the novels mentioned....
Isn’t he?! I’m so very thankful that I’ve gotten to know him over the past few years. He has amazing stories to tell, fiction and non-fiction alike! Thank you for your time and your kind words.
Daniel is a treasure. His ability to tell a story is hypnotizing and leaves you wanting to hear more. I look forward to hearing more about the stories he mentioned and am a new subscriber to Lamp Post in the Marsh. Thanks Winston, love the content you’re putting on this Stack.
Hey, JayDub! Daniel is one of my favorite writers. He’s doing incredible things. I’m confident you’ll enjoy his Substack! And thank you for the kind words.
Thanks, Sandra! Glad you’re enjoying the interviews. They are quickly becoming a favorite of mine as well. I’m really thankful such knowledgeable individuals are sparing their time to answer questions. 😄
Excellent authentic and insightful conversation. Totally agree about the snobbery associated with the term ‘literary fiction’. Only makes sense to me as a steer - a focus on the beauty of words or depth of character more than plot - but even then as arbitrary as counting angels on pinheads. Lots to follow up on. With thanks.
Thanks for reading and commenting, Adrian! Glad you found this interview insightful. 😁 I was so thrilled to ask Daniel these questions. Might need to do a part 2 at some point.
