You're very welcome! I have a brother-in-law who is a retired rear admiral, but that's the closest I've been to the military relation-wise. A few of my stories are scattered across ello and other art sites - some fiction, most nonfiction. I hope you find a couple. I was a staff reporter in Colorado for several years but most of those stories are, of course, about other people, and they're in a box under my bed, lol. In a raging heat spell here presently - hope you're better and writing.
There are 3 books by Barry Hughart that I'm reading, each one called "a work of enchantment set in an ancient China that never was ...but should have been." Adventure, action, thrills. Each book is good.
I'm writing about my own adventures, actions and thrills, set in an ancient life that certainly was ...but shouldn't have been.
Though I miss reading your story today, I am happy.
Thank you for introducing my to Barry Hughart! I’m very interested in picking up a copy of Bridge of Birds now. I’m former USAF myself and so I can totally relate to his story of service and creativity.
Your own story sounds equally interesting! Will you be releasing it somewhere? How can we follow your journey?
Thanks for your comment! Glad you are happy. I, too, am happy!
